Bio
Name: Danielle Chopin
Birthday: September 2
About Me:
I've been very fortunate to be involved in stage projects, such as My Fair Lady, Into the Woods and more recently Disney's official production of Newsies in Manila, Philippines; courtesy of 9WorksTheatrial and GlobeLive. It was a truly wonderful and fulfilling experience I would gladly relive, if given the opportunity. I also was fortunate enough to join the amazing cast for Kaizen Studios film Way Of The Cross. Funny enough this was the project which allowed me to be in the Philippines at the time of the Newsies audition. Both projects are very dear to my heart and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of them and getting to work with such wonderfully talented people. I was also a performer in California's Great America show Pop Fusion. I've been featured in web series Golden California (second season, available Amazon Prime) and Hillbrook Gardens. As well as being a winning contestant on the show Call to Cosplay. I am a classically trained Filipina American artist and vocalist hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area; and while I am able to sing all types of music, I specialize in singing first soprano operatic arias as well as the obvious musical theater. I am so humbled and thankful to God for granting me so many lovely experiences and projects in the entertainment industry. My life thus far has truly been a blessed one. ^__^
Favorite Color(s): Blue, Purple, Pink, Pastel Green, (aka Spring colors. Lol) etc...
Favorite Book(s): "The Lord of the Rings" book series by J.R.R. Tolkien. "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. The 'Sigma Force Series' by James Rollins, specifically "The Judas Strain". That is my favorite out of all the books I've read in that series so far. The "Bridgerton" book series by Julia Quinn is a guilty pleasure. As is the "That Boy" series by Jillian Dodd. I'm also a HUGE fan of the 'Parasol Protectorate' series by Gail Garriger. It's steampunk meets supernatural, and just a solid good time.
Favorite Movie(s): too many to count.
Favorite Food(s): Fruit, Lamb, Korean short ribs, Sushi...or pretty much anything Japanese... Good ole Steak and Potato.
